I have no idea if this ad will ever be shown on US TV. This was an ad created by Saatchi and Saatchi, UK for T-Mobil's new ad campaign, "Life's for Sharing". They used what is called a Flash Mob.
It is a VERY cool effect, and a brilliant ad for how cell phones are used these days for immediate sharing and documenting of life's unexpected moments.

So, I gave my mom a Nintendo DS for Christmas with Brain Age game (which includes her favorite, Sudoku). I purchased it a few weeks before Christmas and set it up, charged the battery, and of course had to try the game before I wrapped it. It was a pretty amazing device, so I called her: "mom, did you get my Christmas present yet?" "No," she said, " did you finally think of something you wanted?" "Yes, I want a Nintendo DS". Now there is a pause on the end of the line. "Aren't you a bit OLD for that kind of thing?" she asked.
Great! And this was what I was giving HER! I never know what kind of reaction I will get, when I present new things to her.
Honestly...there is something about Mullets (the hair style, not the fish) that cause a REALLY strong reaction in me. The mere sight of one (even on an old TV show) anger me. There is no rhyme or reason, they just...just...ARggggghhhh. I don't know.
I REALLY LOATHE THEM! And, yes I realize this is unreasonable and probably some category of prejudice that defies definition.
I LOVE horrible music videos. And I REALLY love this video!
The entertainment factor is incredibly high. Maybe that is not the only thing. I don't know this "group" or anything about them. Probably best that way. The music is classic 70's disco cheese, and "rock" Mullet's abound! (no idea why the buckskins and Indian Tee pee). And the constant, insipid smiling of the Doug Henney-lookalike lead "singer" kind of creeps me out. More bad videos in the Worst Music Video section here...

My mom is a frustrated grandmother. She calls my dog her granddog and the cats her grandcats. She spoils them very badly, often at my expense. She gives them toys and sneaks them treats when I have asked her not to (I still won't tell her how she is sneaking food to the cats)
BUT!!!! she had gone too far. She has given my big cat, Bean a CHICKEN HAT - a hat created for a cat that looks like yamulke with a chicken beak and comb!!!! It does not fit him well. The world is not very accessible to a 25 pound cat..so here he is in all his glory sporting his CHICKEN HAT!!!...
